Over 20 years ago, Michael Lauesen co-founded Nicoat, and since that time, has been directly involved in product development and sales activities. As President, Mike has led the company's pioneering efforts in developing a wide range of aqueous and U.V. coatings. He has secured ISO 9001:2000 certification to ensure the highest levels of quality in all processes and products. He's also worked steadily to form alliances with customers, manufacturers and others to improve applications-related processes and equipment.

Mike has combined his creative, solutions-oriented approach with the discipline gained from his background in finance. By doing so, he has been instrumental in establishing Nicoat as the premium brand in the printing industry.

Guiding Nicoat through its next phase of growth, Mike continually seeks the suggestions and insights of customers, industry allies, and suppliers. This valuable information helps define the direction the company must take to maintain its leadership position both nationally and internationally.
